Refund Policy
Returns
We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your product to request a return, refund, or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note that original shipping costs will not be refunded, and you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs for any replacement product.
To start a return, contact us at akracreations@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
If there’s an issue with a product due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately at akracreations@gmail.com. In such cases, we will take full responsibility for shipping and the return of the product.
Only the original purchaser of the product can request a return, refund, or warranty claim.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can evaluate the issue and take responsibility for resolving it.
Packages Returned or Lost Due to Incorrect Address
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer:
• We will notify you when the package arrives back to us.
• You may choose to have the package resent to the correct address at your expense for additional shipping costs.
• If you prefer a refund, it will exclude the original shipping cost.
If the package is lost due to the incorrect address provided by the customer, refunds will exclude the original shipping cost and incur a 15% restocking fee to cover the lost inventory.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
• Made-to-order products: These items (e.g., leashes, collars, and apparel above 3X, such as vests) are non-refundable and non-returnable due to their custom nature, hygiene and safety concerns, and the inability to resell them.
• Sale items: Products purchased during a sale are final and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you need is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item. Shipping costs for the replacement product are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
Refunds for packages lost due to customer error (e.g., incorrect address) will exclude original shipping costs and incur a 15% restocking fee.
Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty for issues caused by normal use of the product. Examples of misuse, which are not covered under warranty, include:
• Using the external attachments (such as D-rings, MOLLE attachments, or O-rings) to attach heavy items or your dog. These attachments are only designed to hold light, small accessories such as a water bowl, clicker, or poop bag dispenser.
Products damaged due to misuse will not be eligible for replacement or refund under the warranty.
Warranty claims can only be made by the original purchaser.
Lost Packages
If a package is lost in transit:
• Please contact us at akracreations@gmail.com so we can investigate with the shipping carrier.
• If the carrier confirms the package is lost due to a shipping error, we will issue a refund or send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
• If the package is lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refunds will exclude shipping costs and incur a 15% restocking fee. Replacements will incur additional shipping charges.
