AkraCreations began with Akira, my white German Shepherd and my partner in search and rescue for 10 years. Together, we helped find lost people in California and Los Angeles County. When Akira was diagnosed with Aspergillosis, I began looking for ways to cover her medical bills. As a working dog handler, I knew firsthand how hard it was to find high quality gear that met the specific needs of active dogs, gear that was durable, multifunctional, and built to perform. That need sparked an idea, and that idea grew into a brand designed to give all dog owners the gear they deserve.

 At AkraCreations, giving back is part of our mission. We donate to multiple mission aligned organizations throughout the year, focusing on causes that protect the planet, support animal welfare, and strengthen communities. Our biggest contributions go to Tu Fiel Amigo, an organization in Colombia that runs spay and neuter clinics across the country to address the overpopulation of stray dogs. This cause is close to our hearts because it prevents suffering, improves community well-being, and gives dogs a better chance at a healthy life.

We have also supported One Tree Planted to help restore forests and have organized Christmas gift donations for children in need. For us, these efforts are not occasional acts, they are part of our commitment to using AkraCreations as a force for good.
